Tackling the subject of death in a multicultural society is fraught with difficulties. It’s an emotive issue that needs to be treated with sensitivity and tact - care must be taken not to alienate or offend anyone with religious beliefs and traditions that may differ from one’s own. Our solution was to choose beautiful imagery from nature, reminding us of our world’s relentless natural cycle, whilst allowing individuals from different cultural and religious backgrounds to interpret the visual metaphor in their own unique way.
